What does Look Maximize do?
Look Maximize is a camera-based face analysis app. It measures symmetry, eye spacing, nose and mouth proportions, brows, and a confirmed forehead proportion. Your report shows an experimental score or range, feature measurements, comparison bars, and focus points.
Is the first face scan free?
Yes. You get one free completed scan. It works before or after email login. Signing in carries the same allowance into your account; it does not add another free scan.
How much do additional scans cost?
One completed scan costs one $1 USD credit. You can buy 1, 5, or 10 credits at $1 each. The $10 USD/month subscription includes unlimited completed scans during the paid period. Purchased credits do not expire.
Does the subscription renew automatically?
Yes. The unlimited plan renews monthly until you cancel. Use Manage billing in My scans to cancel renewals, update payment details, or view invoices. Canceling keeps access through the paid period.
Do rejected captures or retakes cost a credit?
A rejected capture does not use a scan. Retaking before completing the report does not use another credit. Completing and saving a partial report does use your allowance after confirmation. Deleting a completed report does not restore it.
Does the optional side profile cost extra?
No. Adding the optional side view to the same completed scan does not cost another credit. It adds apparent profile observations and does not change the front score.
Are camera photos uploaded?
No. Camera photos, video, and facial landmark inference stay on your device. Saved reports contain derived measurements and report context, which are sent to the app and remain personal data. The privacy page explains storage and deletion.
What does the face rating score mean?
The score compares measured proportions with the app’s published preset references. It is labeled Experimental because it has not been calibrated to human attractiveness ratings or population percentiles. It is not a health assessment.
Why did I receive a score range?
Some optional brow or hairline measurements may be unavailable. The app shows a possible overall score range rather than guessing those values. A missing measurement is not a low feature score.
Can I choose a male or female preset?
Yes. You select the preset before scanning. The app does not infer gender. Some reference bands and tier labels differ between presets; your measured geometry is separate from those references.
Can I scan another person?
Yes, with their permission and within the app’s age requirements. A subscription covers scans of other consenting people. Someone-else scans stay outside your personal leaderboard entry.
How do leaderboard scores update?
A competition profile has one entry in its selected preset. Only a strictly higher complete, compatible personal scan replaces its best score. Lower scans and ties leave the entry unchanged. Joining public display is optional.
How does Battle work?
Two consenting people take turns on one phone using the same preset. The match compares their displayed complete scores and saves match history. Each completed round uses the normal scan allowance; an active subscription includes unlimited rounds.
Can a scan diagnose a recessed maxilla?
No. A selfie or optional side view cannot establish a skeletal diagnosis. Side observations describe apparent contours. The app does not promise facial bone changes from a score or recommendation.
Can I install Look Maximize on my phone?
Yes. Add it to your home screen from the browser. On iPhone, use Share then Add to Home Screen. On supported Android browsers, choose Install app. Scanning completion, saved history, login, and billing require a connection.
Where can I delete a saved report?
Open My scans, select Delete report, and confirm. The report is removed from your history and linked competition results are cleared. Deleting it does not refund a credit or reset your first free scan.
